Pivotal moments. Only a few times in each of our lives are we faced with one of these pivotal moments. You know it when you are in it. Some prepare for that moment. I really like this song by Eminem. It tells the story of how he prepared for one of his pivotal moments. He knew he wanted more from life. He didn't want to grow old in a trailer, or get left behind in Salem's Lot. He wanted to be a successful rapper. And he prepared for it.

The first time he didn't succeed. He couldn't get a word out. He failed. Yet, he went back to his life and worked some more. He wasn't going to throw in the towel. He prepared so well that he could lose himself in that moment and let his training take over. He captured that moment and made it his.

And he ends it with a motto to live by: "You can do anything you set your mind to, man." That is the attitude. What is yours?
