I played a lot of games when I was a kid. Few of those games were educational in nature though. Yes, I might have learned something from some of them, but none were presented as learning games.
The board game I played that came the closest to educational was chess. It was not until I read Robert Kiyosaki's books like Rich Dad Poor Dad that I realised there were other games out there. There are games that you can learn from just by playing it.
