This is a remake of Lee Ann Womack's classic, I Hope You Dance. To me it does not matter who sings it, but the Ronan Keating version makes
it sound like advice passing from father to son.
Many times I have faced the choice of sitting out or dancing - and most of the time I have chosen to sit out - to my regret. And here I
recognize the symbolism embodied by that choice - do you partake in life or do you sit on the sidelines envying those that do partake?
And so often we are afraid of the mountains in the distance - those 'great' things that are expected of us, those things that we feel
unequipped to handle. Do we risk failure? Do we risk making mistakes for the opportunity to do something amazing?
And when we become successful, to stand beside the ocean and still feel small...
