The 8 most uplifting motivational videos from Youtube

Watching these motivational videos is often just the thing you need to get your engines revving and get you back in the game. From sport to work, it will motivate and inspire you to get back on track and get things done.

This is the second set of motivational videos I've collected into a list. The first set, done two years ago, can be found here.

1. 'Stretch your limits' football coaching motivational video

When we get pushed to achieve, when we are motivate to succeed and are willing to push the limits of our own endurance, we can motivate and inspire not only ourselves, but also those who look up to us. How far can we really go if we push ourselves?

2. Classical Rocky motivation

Stop blaming other people for why you aren't where you'd thought you'd be cause that is what everybody else does. Life is about taking the punches and still keeping on going.

3. Don't follow the rules

If all these people listened to those who said they couldn't our world just wouldn't be the same.

4. Humorous employee motivational video

Sometimes motivation can be achieved not just by using a carrot, but also by using the stick. See how Terry Tate 'motivates' this office team to increase their productivity.

5. Just let yourself be!

This inspirational video shows us that often when one door closes another one will open. And I absolutely love this song!

6. "Go get it. Period."

I really like this scene from the movie The Pursuit of Happiness.

"Don't ever let somebody tell you can't do something. Not even me." ... "You want something? Go get it. Period."

Awesome. Period.

7. Nike survival motivation video

To me this Nike ad is a humorous reminder demonstrating the difference between motivation and inspiration - these people are 'motivated' to survive, but not 'inspired' (semantics).

8. The other side of the coin...

We have all seen the posters with stunning vistas and inspirational slogans and quotes motivating us to persevere, seek wisdom, strive for the top and myriads of other lofty goals. This witty collage, while espousing the same values, says our reasons might not be so noble. It's called de-motivation.

I hope these motivational videos were as inspirational to you as they were to me! Keep that chin up and let us remember to not take ourselves too seriously!
