You Raise Me Up

What it means to me

You raise me up is something we need to say more often. We need to have at least one person to whom we can say 'You raise me up to more than I can be'.

I must be honest, I feel I do not have someone like that at the moment. The closest thing is my 'Council of Advisors' and that is not very inspiring. But in this I also see an opportunity to find someone that will fulfil that role.

And then we can get up and over that mountain. We can walk on water even when a storm is blowing around us. Yes, I am more than I was before because of you.

Surround yourself with people that build you up. Surround yourself with great people and you cannot help but become great yourself. And yes, live in a way so that you can say more often: You build me up!
